Dr. Justin Dargin is an internationally recognized authority on energy markets, climate governance, industrial policy, and economic development in emerging economies. As Chairman of Tangelic, he provides strategic leadership for initiatives advancing clean-energy deployment, carbon-market development, climate-finance solutions, and sustainable economic development across Africa and the broader Global South.

Dr. Dargin is currently Senior Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School’s Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government. Throughout his career, he has advised governments, multilateral institutions, national energy companies, and international organizations, including OPEC, the World Bank, and Shell. He has also delivered briefings to senior United Nations officials on energy, development, and governance challenges confronting emerging economies.

A Middle East–North Africa Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Dargin was previously a Senior Non-Resident Fellow at the Middle East Council on Global Affairs and a senior scholar at the University of Oxford. Earlier, he served as an Energy and Climate Research Fellow with Harvard University’s Dubai Initiative, where he developed the first publicly available policy framework for carbon market development in Gulf energy-exporting states, earning the Harvard University Arab Alumni Association Award for exceptional scholarship on energy and climate policy.

Dr. Dargin is the author or editor of five books and more than one hundred publications on energy, climate policy, and political economy. Among his books are The Gulf’s Climate Reckoning: Decarbonization, Development, and the Future of the Petro-States (Cambridge University Press, 2025) and the forthcoming Sovereignty by Design (Cambridge University Press, 2027). His analysis and commentary have been featured in leading international media outlets, including The New York Times, Financial Times, The Economist, Bloomberg Asharq, and Al Jazeera.

He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Oxford and an LL.M., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center.

Jesston Williams is Executive Director of Tangelic, where he leads the design and deployment of decentralized clean energy and climate-resilient infrastructure platforms across Africa. He structures energy and infrastructure platforms that connect community implementation with disciplined financing and regulatory alignment.

He oversees integrated energy and carbon-linked initiatives within Ghana and broader African market contexts, structuring governance and funding frameworks to support scalable execution within complex regulatory and political environments. He works directly with governments, development finance institutions, multilateral actors, and private-sector partners to build initiatives positioned for institutional credibility, durability, and long-term operability.

Jesston brings cross-sector leadership spanning finance, operational strategy, and institutional development. Prior to Tangelic, he led multimillion-dollar portfolios within Fortune 500 environments in the health and biotechnology sectors, delivering performance-driven programs in complex stakeholder ecosystems.

He is a Fellow of the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) Climate Challenge Leadership Fellowship and was named to the 2026 Pan-Africa Ignite Entrepreneurship Cohort by the Wadhwani Foundation. He serves as a Panel Member of the International Panel of Sustainability Experts (IPSE) and as an Investor Expert for the 2026 Africa Business Concept Challenge, hosted by the Global Business School Network (GBSN), evaluating early-stage enterprises through an institutional investment lens across venture architecture, financial logic, governance durability, and scalability under real market conditions.

Jesston is a regular invited speaker at international climate and infrastructure forums focused on investment alignment and decentralized systems across emerging-market contexts. Under his leadership, Tangelic was recognized as Corporate Social Responsibility Organization of the Year in Ghana for its community-anchored infrastructure architecture and inclusive energy access model.

Theo Minné serves as Chief Operating Officer at Tangelic, where he leads the organization’s operational architecture, cross-functional execution, and strategic delivery to accelerate access to clean energy across underserved regions in Africa.

With more than 30 years of global leadership, Theo brings deep expertise in scaling infrastructure, mobilizing high-performance teams, and executing complex telecom and energy deployments in frontier markets. At Tangelic, he ensures that operations are agile, outcomes-driven, and aligned with the organization’s transformative mission—spearheading the rollout of Tangelic’s innovative programs.

Theo’s career spans executive leadership roles at global firms including ABB, Ericsson, and Dimension Data, where he oversaw regional growth strategies, telecom network expansion, and major infrastructure portfolios across sub-Saharan Africa. As founder of GX Cogen, he pioneered integrated energy models for Africa’s telecom sector, combining engineering innovation with novel financial instruments to deliver scalable, impact-driven solutions. His leadership is defined by an ability to translate vision into execution, building new business units, brokering high-level partnerships, and delivering systems that endure.

Rooted in a systems-thinking ethos, Theo is committed to using sustainable infrastructure as a lever for economic inclusion and rural industrialization. He is a vocal proponent of anchor-client strategies, distributed value chains, and community-embedded energy access models that empower African communities to participate in and shape their own development trajectories.

Dr. Marat Terterov is a senior international policy and investment strategist specializing in energy geopolitics, cross-border capital flows, and treaty-based investment protection. Over nearly three decades, he has brokered government-to-government engagement and investor access across Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa, and the U.S., with a track record of moving files from dialogue to execution.

As Tangelic’s Chief Global Policy & Investment Partnerships Officer, he directs the organization’s international strategy, leading policy advocacy and forging high-level partnerships to advance the clean energy transition across Africa and beyond. In this role, he works with policymakers, investors, and multilateral institutions to accelerate scalable clean energy deployment and climate-aligned economic growth across emerging markets.

Dr. Terterov is the founder of the Brussels Energy Club, where he convened more than 60 ministerial-level and CEO roundtables linking policy risk, security dynamics, and capital flows—regularly drawing sovereign wealth funds, national and international energy companies, and multilateral finance institutions. Previously, as a senior official at the Energy Charter Secretariat in Brussels, he spearheaded treaty expansion and high-level engagement with governments across emerging markets. Under his tenure, Jordan and Yemen acceded to the Energy Charter Treaty, while Iran, Iraq, Morocco, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and multiple African states advanced accession tracks. He also coordinated Ministerial Conferences in Turkmenistan (2017) and Romania (2018), established the Energy Charter Knowledge Centre, and designed executive training programs later adopted by the European Commission and partner governments.

His portfolio spans investment-protection frameworks, cross-border pipeline and interconnection diplomacy, dispute resolution, and energy transition finance. He has advised energy ministers, briefed heads of state, and engaged sovereign funds and institutional investors on liberalization, infrastructure, and capital mobilization.

A prolific author and speaker, he has produced hundreds of publications and is a regular commentator for international policy platforms and global media. Dr. Terterov earned a D.Phil. in Middle Eastern Politics from the University of Oxford, where he was a Chevening Scholar. Multilingual, he is fluent in Ukrainian, with working proficiency in French and Arabic.

Rolf Bachmann brings over 15 years of experience in strategy, entrepreneurship, international stakeholder management, education, and sales. As a Strategic Advisor to Tangelic, Rolf leverages his extensive expertise in global stakeholder engagement and innovative business development to drive Tangelic’s growth and impact and to position the organization as a leader in innovation and social change.

Rolf currently serves at Swiss Re, a leading global reinsurer, where he promotes the Swiss Re Institute’s educational programs to the international insurance industry and builds strategic partnerships to enhance clients’ expertise in risk and insurance. Over the past several years, he has also contributed to the Swiss Re Foundation by redesigning and moderating the Entrepreneurs for Resilience Award, which empowers entrepreneurs in low- and middle-income countries.

From 2020 to 2023, Rolf successfully revitalized the Centre for Global Dialogue, reestablishing it as Swiss Re’s premier platform for client and stakeholder engagement. Before joining Swiss Re, Rolf spent nearly a decade with the St. Gallen Symposium, where he led the global talent selection process and spearheaded the international student essay competition. As a member of the leadership team, he was also responsible for managing the organization’s communications strategy.

Additionally, in 2017, Rolf co-founded healthapp.ch, a successful Swiss tech company that helps health practitioners digitize their practices. Today, over 3,000 practitioners use the platform to manage nearly one million treatment records for 150,000 patients. Rolf is actively engaged in cultural volunteer work and, in 2020, became a trustee of Schloss Luxburg, a historic château on Lake Constance in Switzerland. In this role, he is working to open the 525-year-old site to the public for the first time.

Rolf is highly committed to Tangelic’s mission of delivering sustainable energy solutions to marginalized communities. He believes that access to renewable energy is essential for fostering social and economic advancement, opening doors to education and entrepreneurship. As a Strategic Advisor, Rolf utilizes his deep experience and global expertise to ensure Tangelic stands at the forefront of social impact initiatives.

Mehdi Chennoufi is an accomplished energy market expert with deep experience in both the long-term planning and negotiation aspects of global energy markets. With a focus on fossil and non-fossil energy strategies, he brings valuable expertise in managing geopolitical risks and rewards in the energy landscape. Mehdi’s work spans from oil and gas to the broader ecosystem, always with a lens on the restoration and preservation of both human and environmental health.

In addition to his role as an energy strategist, Mehdi is passionate about biodiversity conservation, having co-founded Wanakaset.org. Through this initiative, he has managed over 600 hectares across multiple developing countries, working to preserve natural resources while creating opportunities for marginalized communities. His diverse portfolio reflects a holistic understanding of energy solutions, emphasizing the importance of ecosystem services, soil health, water management, and governance in sustainable development.

Mehdi has worked and developed projects in over 20 countries, negotiating with governments in more than 50 nations. He began his career with KPMG, followed by strategic roles at Shell, where he led various initiatives, including LNG business development and trading across multiple regions. He was instrumental in delivering the world’s first carbon-neutral LNG cargoes and has continued to lead innovative efforts in carbon offsetting throughout his career.

Most recently, as the Head of Asia LNG Business Development & Origination at Vitol, Mehdi continues to shape the future of energy markets, with a particular emphasis on clean energy transitions and market diversification.

Mehdi holds a Master’s in Economics and an MBA from ISG Paris and the University of Oxford. In his free time, he enjoys sailing and is deeply committed to biodiversity conservation through the work of Wanakaset.org.

Meseret (Mesi) Haileyesus is an internationally acclaimed leader in financial inclusion, economic justice, and systemic policy innovation, with over two decades of experience catalyzing transformative change across Africa, North America, and the global stage. As a Strategic Advisor to Tangelic, she brings unparalleled expertise in designing equity-centered solutions that bridge economic empowerment, climate resilience, and inclusive development, ensuring that marginalized voices are placed at the center of progress.

Across her distinguished career, Mesi has championed groundbreaking initiatives that have redefined global conversations around financial rights, technology-facilitated harm, and gender-responsive policy reform. As CEO of the Canadian Center for Women’s Empowerment (CCFWE), she has led high-impact collaborations with national governments, financial institutions, and technology leaders—developing pioneering frameworks that protect vulnerable communities and advance inclusive digital economies. Her visionary leadership was pivotal in passing Canada’s landmark Bill 41 (Protection from Coerced Debts in Human Trafficking) and in creating Canada’s first digital tools for financial rights protection.

At the international level, Mesi has been a powerful advocate for linking financial inclusion to climate resilience, influencing national strategies and multilateral dialogues through engagements at the United Nations, World Bank, IMF, and UN-Habitat. She also brings her governance, innovation, and risk management expertise to ensure that Tangelic’s initiatives unlock opportunity, dignity, and economic resilience for marginalized communities across Africa and beyond.

Dr. Abdullah Baabood is a leading global authority on Gulf political economy, diplomacy, and regional integration, whose work has shaped high-level policy and international cooperation for over two decades. He holds the Chair of the State of Qatar for Islamic Area Studies and is a Visiting Professor at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. As a Strategic Advisor to Tangelic, he provides senior counsel on Gulf regional engagement, international climate diplomacy, and cross-border partnerships, advancing cooperation with Africa on clean energy deployment and sustainable development.

He has taught at distinguished universities across Europe, Asia, and the Gulf, and has directed premier academic and policy institutions, including the Gulf Studies Center at Qatar University and the Gulf Research Center at the University of Cambridge, where he also served as a Research Associate at the Prince Waleed Bin Talal Centre of Islamic Studies. While at Cambridge, he co-founded the Cambridge Arab Media Project and has also held visiting roles at the Middle East Institute (National University of Singapore) and Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Qatar.

A trusted advisor to governments, diplomatic institutions, and multilateral organizations, Dr. Baabood has designed and delivered advanced training programs for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretariat General and regional diplomatic academies. His expertise spans comparative regional integration, international relations, and globalization, with a particular focus on the GCC’s economic, political, and social development, its external relations, and its role in priority areas such as global climate governance and South–South partnerships.

Widely published and a frequent speaker at major international forums, Dr. Baabood holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Cambridge, an M.A. from the University of Kent, and an MBA from Strayer College. His blend of academic rigor, policy insight, and geopolitical vision positions him to advance the Gulf’s emerging climate leadership by forging high-impact partnerships with African counterparts, driving joint strategies that strengthen climate resilience and unlock shared economic opportunities.

Nejib Zaafrani is an accomplished international energy leader with more than 40 years of senior-level experience across global oil, gas, and clean-energy systems. As a Strategic Advisor to Tangelic, he brings deep expertise in energy governance, decarbonization, and multistakeholder leadership with innovative approaches to support Tangelic’s mission of advancing sustainable, equitable energy transitions.

Mr. Zaafrani previously served as the first Secretary General and CEO of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE), where he led the development of Dubai’s modern energy governance framework and co-architected the Dubai Integrated Energy Strategy 2030 (DIES). Prior to his government leadership, he spent three decades with Royal Dutch Shell in Asia, Europe and Middle East, culminating in his role as Chairman and Managing Director of Shell Abu Dhabi B.V.

A longstanding champion of climate-aligned hydrocarbon strategies, Mr. Zaafrani played a pioneering role as early as 2003 in advancing MENA CO₂-EOR and CCUS initiatives, and he presented at the World Economic Forum (2005) on transnational CO₂ capture, transport, and utilization infrastructure. Since 2013, he has served as an independent international senior executive advisor, guiding government leaders, national oil companies, and global corporations on energy policy, transition strategy, and decarbonization pathways.

Mr. Zaafrani is also cofounder and Chairman of Tunisian Talents United (TTU) and a frequent keynote speaker at international forums. At COP28, he addressed the evolution of hydrocarbon decarbonisation “from vision to reality,” reflecting his lifelong commitment to pragmatic, forward-looking climate solutions.

He holds a Master’s in Physics from the University of Sciences in Paris (1977) and a Petroleum Engineering degree from the École Nationale Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs – Institut Français du Pétrole (ENSPM-IFP) (1978). Widely recognized for his leadership, Mr. Zaafrani has received numerous awards for his contributions to the global energy sector.

Rashid Al-Mohanadi is a leading Gulf strategist at the intersection of capital, national security, and the global energy transition. With a career spanning Qatar’s LNG sector, defense industry, and institutional advisory, he brings a rare blend of technical depth, policy expertise, and board-level influence. As Principal – Gulf Capital & Institutions at Tangelic, he ensures that Gulf capital and institutional authority are embedded at the core of the organization’s global climate and energy strategy.

He is the Managing Director and Founding Partner of Catalyst Consulting, a Qatar-based advisory recognized for shaping institutional resilience across finance, trade security, and regulatory policy. Under his leadership, Catalyst has advised leading banks, regulators, and corporates on aligning Gulf regulatory systems with international standards, mitigating systemic risk, and enabling secure cross-border capital flows.

Earlier, Rashid built expertise across Qatar’s LNG sector in project engineering, operations, and international commercial sales, before advancing the country’s defense-industrial base through senior roles in the domestic defense industry. He has also been featured in regional debates on security and industrial strategy as a Nonresident Fellow at the Middle East Council on Global Affairs, where he spoke on defense innovation, Gulf energy policy, and institutional resilience.

Rashid earned a First-Class Honours degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Surrey, a Master’s in Defense and Security Studies from Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies, and a Master’s in Critical Security Studies from the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.

Charles F. Stromeyer IV is a global investor and leading authority on the convergence of artificial intelligence, investment strategy, and enterprise innovation. With over three decades in public equities and more than 20 years advancing next-generation AI systems, he has driven technologies and capital structures that scaled worldwide and transformed markets.

As Principal – Frontier AI & Investment Strategy, Charles designs Tangelic’s integration of emerging technologies with investment strategy, aligning innovation with the organization’s clean energy and climate finance agenda to generate scalable, investable models for global markets.

In the early 2000s, Charles played a formative role in the start of DataXu, collaborating on the foundational work linking Bayesian networks with machine learning—advances that helped catalyze the programmatic advertising industry. He went on to propose pioneering AI concepts later adopted in enterprise software, including AI-based coding assistants, reinforcement learning applications in financial trading, and synthetic data for generative AI systems.

Grounded in a career in public equities, Charles has guided and accelerated the success of founders through his mentorship and counsel. Entrepreneurs he has advised have collectively raised billions of dollars, produced 15 successful exits, and earned international recognition. His mentees have gone on to win the world’s highest environmental and innovation awards—including the inaugural Earthshot Prize and the Food Planet Prize—while 14 founders he supported were named to Forbes 30 Under 30 lists. He also influenced the early development of top-performing hedge funds, bridging deep capital markets expertise with frontier technology.

Charles is a recipient of the Deval L. Patrick Commonwealth Innovation Award. He has also published peer-reviewed research in psychiatry and continues to track advances in neurobiology, bringing a cross-disciplinary perspective to his work in AI and investment.

Dr. Jeffrey Kenneth Baiden serves as Principal for Ghana Energy & Climate Finance at Tangelic, where he provides national regulatory insight, sovereign finance expertise, and sector-level guidance essential to the organization’s capital architecture and the Sunrise Spectrum deployment in Ghana. With more than fifteen years working across power-sector reforms, climate-finance mechanisms, and institutional restructuring in Africa, he brings deep utility experience, government-embedded advisory work, and cross-border transaction leadership that reinforces Tangelic’s program architecture and continent-wide deployment model.

A distinguished energy economist and transactions advisor, Dr. Baiden has contributed to major sector reforms in Ghana. As an embedded advisor at the Ministry of Energy under USAID Power Africa and at the Volta River Authority, he played a key role in the Energy Sector Recovery Program (ESRP), advancing efforts to restore financial sustainability, modernize regulatory and tariff frameworks, and realign market structures with Ghana’s national energy-transition framework. He also led financial modeling and structuring for Ghana’s first nuclear power program, supporting long-term planning and sovereign investment decisions.

Across more than a dozen African countries, Dr. Baiden has overseen capital raising, blended-finance structuring, feasibility assessments, and utility-market design for solar, mini-grid, hydro, waste-to-energy, and grid-modernization programs in collaboration with the World Bank, IMF, USAID, PFAN, and national utilities across West, Central, and Southern Africa. His regional work also includes serving as Regional Technical Advisor for DC L’Afrique Limited, providing transaction advisory and climate-finance support across multiple African markets. His expertise aligns Tangelic’s clean-energy and carbon-finance structures with the regulatory and institutional parameters required for bankable deployment.

In addition to his advisory work, he lectures on energy policy, development economics, and program finance at the University of Cape Coast, GIMPA, and the Institute of Development and Technology Management.

Dr. Baiden holds a PhD in Development Studies and advanced graduate qualifications in development finance and quantitative economics.

Sheikh Aasim Alwaleed Ali Al-Thani’s work spans educational leadership, international security cooperation, and institutional capacity-building across the public sector domains. He currently serves within Qatar’s Ministry of Defence (MOD), where his responsibilities include coordination on international cooperation, development initiatives, and multilateral engagement relevant to national and internal defense frameworks.

Within Tangelic’s Capital Design Council, he serves as Principal – Gulf Sovereign Strategy & Coordination, where he shapes the Gulf-facing dimensions of Tangelic’s institutional strategy, sovereign-level partnership frameworks, and the pathways that enable cross-regional climate and energy collaboration.

Sheikh Aasim began his service at the National Service Academy (NSA), where he served as a Platoon Commander prior to leading the NSA’s international cooperation arm. In recognition of his role in supporting international delegations during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Sheikh Aasim received formal acknowledgment from H.E. Dr. Bisera Turkovich, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, highlighting his contribution to diplomatic security coordination during a major global event. He has also served as an acting member of the Military Committee for NATO’s Military Strategic Partnership Conference (MSPC) 2023, engaging with allied partners on security cooperation, interoperability, and strategic coordination.

Beyond his operational duties, Sheikh Aasim contributes to policy and practitioner dialogue as a Non-Resident Fellow at the Gulf International Forum (GIF) and an Associate Fellow at the Institute for Peace & Diplomacy (IPD), where his work addresses international security governance, crisis management, and regional security cooperation to enable stable futures.

Sheikh Aasim is an Old Member of New College, University of Oxford, where he completed a Master of Studies (MSt) in Diplomatic Studies. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) with a major in International Politics from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Qatar. His professional military education was completed at Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College (ABMMC), where he obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Military Science, complemented by executive education at the Cambridge Security Initiative (CSI), LSE IDEAS, and the King’s Institute for Applied Security Studies (KIASS).

Md. Toufiqul Alam (“Toufiq”) Tonoy serves as Senior Director of Strategic Operations & Communications at Tangelic, where he oversees organizational operations, talent acquisition, institutional communications, and cross-functional execution across the organization’s climate infrastructure and sustainable development portfolio. In this capacity, he strengthens organizational effectiveness by advancing accountability, improving coordination across teams and initiatives, and ensuring alignment between strategic priorities and execution as Tangelic expands its activities across Africa.

Toufiq brings nearly a decade of experience spanning operational leadership, strategic communications, and organizational development. His professional background includes leadership roles across development organizations, communications firms, educational platforms, and private-sector enterprises, supporting initiatives throughout Asia, Africa, and North America. He has worked closely with government officials, multilateral institutions, international NGOs, social enterprises, educational organizations, media platforms, and private-sector partners, providing him with extensive experience managing cross-sector partnerships, navigating complex operating environments, and supporting institutional growth across diverse markets.

In addition to his operational and communications leadership, Toufiq has served as an instructor and mentor in digital communications and audience development, delivering professional training and advising practitioners on strategic communications, digital engagement, and media development.

Toufiq holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management, with a concentration in Leadership and Organizational Communications, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and Finance from the American International University-Bangladesh. He also holds professional certifications in project management, leadership development, business intelligence, digital marketing, social media strategy, search engine optimization, and business analytics.

Henry Nii Arday Aryeetey is an environmental and energy professional with nearly two decades of experience spanning renewable energy, environmental governance, climate adaptation, and infrastructure delivery across West Africa. As Senior Field Operations Manager – Ghana at Tangelic, he leads field operations for the Sunrise Spectrum initiative, overseeing decentralized energy deployment and implementation activities across Ghana.

Drawing on experience across government institutions, international development programs, and environmental advisory roles, Henry specializes in renewable energy systems, ESG compliance, climate-risk management, environmental auditing, and donor-funded infrastructure delivery. His work combines technical oversight, regulatory expertise, and operational execution across complex and emerging-market environments.

Previously, Henry served as Regional Environmental Advisor for USAID West Africa, where he provided environmental compliance oversight and technical guidance for renewable energy, biodiversity, economic growth, and climate resilience programs across 21 countries. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Specialist at Ghana’s Energy Commission, contributing to energy-sector regulation, strategic environmental assessments, and infrastructure planning. He also held roles with Tropenbos International Ghana and the UNDP/GEF Sustainable Land Management Project, supporting biodiversity conservation and sustainable land-management initiatives.

Henry holds a Master of Science in Environmental and Energy Management from the University of Twente in the Netherlands, a Postgraduate Diploma in Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation from ITC-Enschede, and a BSc (Hons) in Natural Resource Management from KNUST, Ghana. He has been a member of the International Association for Impact Assessment since 2009.

Matthew brings a global perspective shaped by experience across the U.S., Africa, and Latin America, with a strong foundation in international development, sustainability, and social impact. His past work includes driving sustainability innovation in Madrid with Emzingo, supporting Indigenous climate resilience efforts across Africa with the Indigenous Peoples of Africa Coordinating Committee (IPACC), and managing global engagement projects at Global Ties Sacramento.

With a Master’s degree in International Affairs from UC San Diego and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Communications from UC Davis, Matthew combines policy insight with tactical execution. His work is driven by a belief in partnership as a pathway to climate justice—and by a deep commitment to empowering communities at the frontlines of energy poverty and environmental change.

Hawa Mutawakilu is a Ghana-based food journalist, sustainable lifestyle advocate, and award-winning vegan chef with deep expertise in indigenous Ghanaian foodways, community health, and women-led cooking practices. As a Community Engagement & Adoption Lead at Tangelic, she supports the Sunrise Spectrum initiative by providing on-the-ground insight into cultural fit, behavioral adoption, and community engagement related to clean cooking deployment, with a particular focus on women households in Ghana’s Northern Region.

She is the founder and editor of Hawa’s Sustainable Journal, a widely read platform dedicated to conscious and sustainable living through indigenous food traditions and public education. Her work operates at the intersection of nutrition, ecological stewardship, and cultural continuity, and has been featured across major Ghanaian media outlets including OnuaOnline, GBC Online, AngelOnline, and NewsfileGH.

Hawa holds a Master’s degree in Conflict, Human Rights and Peace Studies from the University of Education, Winneba, grounding her work in community resilience, social equity, and conflict-sensitive engagement. She is fluent in Dagbani, Frafra, Hausa, Twi, and Fante, enabling direct engagement across diverse communities in Ghana.

Lingling Deng serves as Business Intelligence Specialist at Tangelic, where she applies her background in financial analytics, production data engineering, and artificial intelligence to building the intelligence infrastructure behind climate infrastructure deployment across emerging markets. She brings together financial-data discipline, engineering capability, analytics, and AI to develop systems that turn complex operational and financial data into intelligence for project execution, performance assessment, and strategic decision-making.

Lingling brings more than a decade of experience spanning financial services, risk analytics, business intelligence, and data engineering. At Société Générale, she worked across credit risk reporting and KYC/AML for corporate banking clients, including sanctions screening, PEP matching, and adverse-media analysis. She also analyzed and tuned fraud-screening systems to improve detection while managing false-positive rates, and contributed to scalable risk and compliance reporting infrastructure supporting a $43 billion acquisition integration.

She subsequently served as a Senior Financial Data Analyst at Hubei Jixin CPA Firm, supporting more than 20 corporate engagements and working directly with senior stakeholders on financial performance, risk analysis, reporting, and business intelligence. Her work included integrating fragmented financial datasets, developing standardized analytical workflows, and building data systems that reduced manual reporting effort by 60 percent.

Her technical work spans production data engineering and applied AI, including an economic analytics platform built with Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, Python, and Streamlit, with automated data-quality testing and institutional-style risk indicators. She has also developed LLM-based analytical systems for structured probability assessments, risk factors, and confidence measures.

Lingling holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Management in Accounting from Wuhan University of Technology, China.

Katelyn Chen serves as Climate Finance & Growth Fellow at Tangelic, where she supports climate finance research, market analysis, and investment-readiness across the organization’s sustainable infrastructure portfolio. She brings a quantitative and interdisciplinary approach to evaluating emerging opportunities across climate and energy markets.

Prior to joining Tangelic, Katelyn served as a Data Analytics Intern at AEM Inc., where she worked with finance and production teams on pricing analysis, manufacturing processes, and predictive analytics. Her work supported operational planning and helped establish standardized benchmarks across product categories. She has also developed financial planning and forecasting tools, including a Python-based application for tracking expenses, modeling cash flows, and evaluating alternative financial scenarios. At UC Berkeley, she has applied quantitative research to consumer behavior and market strategy, using survey analysis to develop recommendations for market positioning and growth.

At Big Data at Berkeley and the California Actuarial League, Katelyn has held leadership roles spanning budget management, industry engagement, marketing, and professional development. At Big Data at Berkeley, she has contributed to allocation planning for a six-figure student organization budget and outreach to prospective industry partners.

Katelyn is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics at the University of California, Berkeley, with an emphasis in Economics and a minor in Data Science.

Shraddha Sharma serves as Climate Finance & Growth Fellow at Tangelic, where she supports climate finance, investment analysis, market intelligence, and strategic growth. She brings experience in ESG advisory and sustainability consulting, with a track record of helping organizations convert climate and sustainability priorities into clear strategies, measurable targets, and commercially grounded decisions.

At KPMG, Shraddha advised more than a dozen multinational clients across financial services, manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and real estate. She led the development of climate transition roadmaps and Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions inventories, conducted materiality and climate-risk assessments, and built internal carbon-pricing models that helped clients prioritize decarbonization investments. She also prepared investor-oriented sustainability disclosures aligned with major international frameworks and supported assurance engagements for large corporate clients, strengthening the quality and credibility of their ESG reporting.

Beyond consulting, Shraddha advanced climate policy and organizational growth initiatives as a Stanback Climate Policy Fellow at the Rachel Carson Council, where she researched climate finance and carbon markets and helped expand student engagement through a new campus ambassador program. At Duke University, she combined lifecycle assessment, carbon accounting, and financial analysis to identify both emissions reductions and cost-saving opportunities in sustainable procurement. She has also held leadership roles with Duke Net Impact and served as a graduate teaching assistant in carbon accounting, ESG investing, and business and environment.

Shraddha holds a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment, specializing in Business & Environment, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from the University of Mumbai.

Katleho Mojakisane is a visionary leader dedicated to creating sustainable, community-driven solutions that address climate change and energy poverty in Africa. As Sustainable Futures Coordinator at Tangelic, she champions innovative programs that empower underserved communities by fostering equitable access to clean energy. With a strong background in project management, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement, Katleho works to build partnerships that amplify the impact of Tangelic’s initiatives across the continent.

As the founder of Youth On The Rise, a nonprofit focused on youth empowerment, Katleho has spearheaded initiatives addressing youth unemployment, education gaps, and gender-based violence in Lesotho and South Africa. She successfully mobilized over 500 young leaders for the Lesotho Youth Summit and was honored with the Future Africa Leaders Award 2023 for her outstanding contributions to socio-economic development. Additionally, Katleho was selected as a Mastercard Foundation Scholar for her leadership and academic excellence.

Katleho’s impact extends across Africa. In Ghana, she co-organized the Ghana Central Expo, leading fundraising campaigns, facilitating health screenings for over 500 people, and supporting 300+ local entrepreneurs. Her efforts in economic empowerment and peacebuilding continue to inspire sustainable growth and community resilience in the region.

Victoria Cornelio is a passionate leader in climate resilience, community empowerment, and sustainable development. As Tangelic’s Climate Action Advocate, she works to advance innovative solutions that promote environmental sustainability and uplift underserved communities. She brings a people-first ethos to her work, ensuring that communities are better equipped and more resilient to confront the challenges of a changing climate. With expertise in climate advocacy, education, and project management, Victoria is central to advancing Tangelic’s mission to inspire action and create impactful solutions for a sustainable future.

TJ Omojomolo is an investment strategist, entrepreneur, and market-development leader focused on strengthening the connections between international capital and emerging opportunities across Africa. As Co-Host of Tangelic Talks, he applies a capital markets perspective to conversations on energy infrastructure, finance, and sustainable development, examining the financing frameworks, strategic partnerships, and policy developments shaping Africa’s economic transformation.

He is the Founding Director of Afribond, an investment and business network dedicated to strengthening commercial connectivity and institutional engagement across the continent. Through Afribond, TJ advances opportunities by connecting financial, business, and policy communities. His efforts center on expanding market access, strengthening commercial ecosystems, and supporting private-sector growth across key sectors including energy, logistics, technology, and finance.

As the architect and host of The Afribond Roundtable and The Afribond Sessions, TJ convenes investors, business executives, policymakers, and innovators to examine the economic, financial, and geopolitical forces shaping Africa’s commercial landscape. He has led high-level forums and advisory engagements in collaboration with organizations including Santander, Barclays, the African Development Bank, and the UK House of Commons, contributing to discussions on capital formation, finance, entrepreneurship, and regional competitiveness.

Kevin Lamp serves as a Renewable Energy Analyst at Tangelic, where he contributes to clean energy strategy, technical research, and infrastructure planning. He brings a systems-oriented and data-driven approach to the design and evaluation of community-based renewable energy initiatives—combining geospatial analytics, environmental modeling, and resilient infrastructure design.

His international experience spans both North America and Europe, including project work in Estonia and California. Kevin has supported wind and solar feasibility studies, conducted environmental constraint analyses, contributed to solar plant monitoring, and participated in high-level strategic planning. His interdisciplinary background in engineering and architecture enables him to develop solutions that are both technically robust and socially responsive.

At Tangelic, Kevin applies his global insight and analytical skills to projects that bridge innovation with climate justice—advancing resilient, scalable energy systems that empower underserved communities. His academic and field work emphasize the integration of climate policy, sustainable design, and emerging technologies to drive an equitable clean energy transition.

He holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, where he specialized in Atmosphere and Energy.

Jude Ekow Gyesi is the Energy Systems Specialist at Tangelic, where he contributes to research, emissions modeling, and technical documentation to promote equitable, low-carbon energy access across Africa. With a unique blend of industry experience and sustainability expertise, Jude bridges traditional energy systems with innovative, community-driven solutions aligned with Tangelic’s mission of climate justice and resilience.

He began his career in the oil and gas sector, developing hands-on expertise in onshore and offshore operations, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and process optimization. Driven by a commitment to sustainability, Jude transitioned to the clean energy and climate field, contributing to the Arizona Clean Plan at Northern Arizona University under the EPA Climate Pollution Reduction Grant. There, he ensures the integrity of greenhouse gas inventory data through rigorous QA/QC protocols, supporting transparent, evidence-based climate strategies.

Jude holds a BSc in Petrochemical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana), a Graduate Certificate in Greenhouse Gas Accounting, and is completing his Master of Science in Climate Science and Solutions at Northern Arizona University. His forward-thinking approach and technical rigor help deliver resilient, low-carbon solutions tailored to the needs of underserved communities.

Oluwatoni Honour Afinjuomo is Tangelic’s Climate Policy Analyst, where she advances the organization’s ability to bridge international climate frameworks with finance-ready strategies for Africa’s clean energy transition. Her portfolio spans policy analysis, governance insights, and regulatory alignment that support donor relations, strengthen engagement with DFIs, and unlock scalable financing for decentralized energy and climate infrastructure.

Her career includes roles across leading European and African policy institutes. She served as a Junior Research Fellow at the European Institute of Policy Research and Human Rights in Brussels, supported climate governance research at the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society in Munich, and authored briefs on NDCs, carbon markets, and adaptation law for the African Technology Policy Studies Network in Nairobi.

In parallel, Oluwatoni served as Head of Green-Talk, a climate dialogue platform under the NGO Eden World Initiative, where she led regional discussions on climate change and environmental sustainability. She has also served as an Ambassador for iCare Sustainability International, leading grassroots climate education and waste-to-value programs. She is also a GreenLead Fellow and African Union Scholar, recognized for her leadership in advancing inclusive governance and climate justice across the continent.

She holds an MSc in Climate Change Policy from the Pan African University (Algeria) and a BSc in Forestry and Wildlife Management from the University of Ilorin (Nigeria). Her research and commentary have been featured in international forums, including the MIT Graduate Climate Conference, where she has contributed to global debates on law, finance, and Africa’s role in the climate transition.

Cameron Nichols is Podcast and Media Strategist at Tangelic, where he develops content and engagement strategies that position Tangelic Talks as a leading platform for global dialogue on clean energy, climate finance, and economic development in emerging markets.

Previously, Cameron worked with the Middle East Council on Global Affairs in Qatar, supporting its Conflict and Security Program with research and publications on regional fragility in Middle East-North Africa and Southern Africa. He contributed to high-level policy dialogues, supported senior fellows’ publications, and coordinated the Council’s podcast initiatives. Earlier, he served as Station Manager for a U.S.-based broadcast outlet, directing programming and operations while expanding its audience reach and community impact.

Cameron holds a B.A. in Middle East Studies with a minor in Arabic from Dickinson College, with a focus on Gulf security, U.S. foreign policy, and cross-cultural engagement.

Pilar Zita Medina is Media and Communication Coordinator at Tangelic, where she drives communication and outreach strategies that elevate the organization’s clean energy and climate finance mission. She works closely with the Marketing and Partnerships team, leveraging her background in multimedia production and advocacy to strengthen brand presence and cultivate alignment with global partners.

Originally from Manila, Pilar began her climate activism at just twelve, founding a multimedia initiative that mobilized students through art and storytelling to raise awareness of the climate crisis. She later joined the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities and its creative platform, The Agam Agenda, contributing to youth engagement programs and serving on the editorial team for Harvest Moon: Poems and Stories from the Edge of the Climate Crisis—recipient of the 2023 Philippine National Book Award for Best Anthology. At seventeen, she spoke at the book’s official launch as its primary youth representative.

Pilar is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Systems at the University of California, San Diego, concentrating in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution.

Rina Maulani is Strategic Communications, Media & Marketing Coordinator at Tangelic, where she supports the organization’s strategic communications, digital presence, media production, and marketing efforts. She combines strategic communications expertise with creative production and digital marketing to translate Tangelic’s work in climate infrastructure and sustainable development into clear, credible, and compelling communications for partners, stakeholders, and audiences across Africa and emerging markets.

Rina’s experience spans government institutions, public broadcasters, media organizations, cultural events, SMEs, and digital brands. At Bank Indonesia, she developed visual campaigns, social media content, event branding, and public-facing materials supporting financial literacy, digital payments, and public engagement initiatives. She has also driven digital campaigns and content production for Radio Republik Indonesia and served on the social media team at Universitas Lampung TV.

Her expertise covers the full communications cycle—from content strategy and audience research through campaign planning, copywriting, graphic design, video production, execution, and performance analysis. As a designer and digital brand manager, she has delivered branding systems, key visuals, and marketing materials across multiple industries, while building high-performing content strategies and campaigns on Instagram and TikTok.

Rina has supported major public and cultural events, including Seba Baduy 2026, contributing to digital campaigns, event branding, social media content, and media production. She was awarded first place in Bank Indonesia Banten’s TikTok Challenge for her creative execution, storytelling, and short-form content skills.
